Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve always been an animal lover and was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by cats and dogs.

These days, Chris and I share our home with Colin, our lovable black Labrador, plus our two cats, Betty and Elmo – a brother-and-sister pair who we adopted from Cats Protection. We also have a one-year-old foster tortoise named Milky, who’s looking like a more permanent member of the family.

This is my first time working in the veterinary world, but I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned from my years in local government into the practice and support Chris with his dream of owning his own practice.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and going to gigs.

Fun fact: I actually wanted to be a vet when I was younger… but ended up marrying one instead!
