Hi, I’m Chris! I grew up in Medway and went to school locally before going on to study Zoology and then Wild Animal Biology. After that, I completed my Veterinary Medicine degree at the Royal Veterinary College and graduated in 2013.

I have worked in practices in Hertfordshire and Kent.  Most recently I have worked as a clinical director for one of the large corporate vets.

I’ve always had a passion for working with exotic animals, as well as small animals. In 2024, I completed a certificate in advanced veterinary practice, completing modules in reptile and small mammal medicine, along with internal medicine for dogs and cats.

I’m happy to see all kinds of pets – whether they have fur, feathers or scales!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy running and cycling with Colin, our black Labrador. At home I spend time with my family, which includes Betty and Elmo the cats, Colin the dog and Milky the tortoise.

Fun Fact: I spent 3 months in a jungle in Thailand looking for Asiatic Black Bears – but didn’t find any!
